New theme builder to create and or modify template themes and what about a theme manager?

Hello,

Mautic 6.0.0 has an updated theme builder which is great. You can select a template theme, apply modifications, these modification are stored somewhere hidden in Mautic and you can use it in an email campaign etc…

If the new builder can do all that then why can’t the new builder also modify a template theme and store the modifications either over writing the source template theme or creating a new template theme ? No need for AI to create new template themes if you can use the new builder to do it all for you ? Why hand code theme templates when the new builder in theory could do it all for you in wisiwig.

Taking this a stage further, the creation of a theme template or an email to be used in a campaign is an independent task. I hope to create many new theme templates and actual email designs ahead of use which should be stored somehow in Mautic. When I wish to send a campaign I would like to be prompted by a list of these already used email themes, new unused themes etc … and select the one I want which makes the workflow much better. I think what I’m asking for is a true theme manager at the top level menu of Mautic.

I will now get to my real question. I can clone a theme template but is there a wisiwig way of modifying a theme template or it a manual coding task using third party tools ? Any help would be welcome

Thanks.

Hello,

Just had a follow up thought.

In Mautic there is a theme template folder structure. If the wysiwig builder could open a theme template and the builder could modify and save the changes to same theme template folder then you could create or clone as many themes as you need just by coping folders.

That would allow you to build themes ahead of use. And then you could submit an email campaign at your discretion just bu choosing a pre-defined theme.

How difficult whould that be to implement ?

Thanks.
