I am looking for a way to build stages into reports. I thought these would be under contacts but I can’t find it as a column in a report, or as a report source.
Am I overlooking something or is this a missing feature?

I couldn’t find any way to generate a stage based report.
You can create a filter in contact view:

Yeah, plz. We just talked about it in the Mautic Help Desk meetup. It is needed.
However there is a workaround.
You can make a ssegment based on stage. And you can have a report based on segment
