Is it possible now to somehow use tokens like {contactfield=firstname} in text messages?
Just pushing this up:
Can tokens be used in SMS mesgs or push notifications, tweets, etc?
If yes, where to find documentation or more information.
If not, should we open a new feature request?
Hello Yosu,
In text messages this works for sure:
email: {contactfield=email} id: {contactfield=id} fname: {contactfield=firstname}
Just tested with 2.16.3.

Hi @joeyk, I have no problem using {contactfield=…} tokens in text messages but {ownerfield=…} tokens are sent as (ownerfield=…) for example. For example in text message I an inserting {ownerfield=firstname} but it is sent as (ownerfield=firstname) instead of real name or the owner. It just converts { to ( and send it as it is. Do you have any idea about this?
Haven’t seen this bug yet, but it’s totally possible.
