Tracking not working on my LAN?

I have a staging environment set up in a DMZ on my (not technically) LAN.

My (staging) webserver and Mautic are installed on a Ubuntu VPS.

Tracking works for IPs other than those that aren’t my ISP.

So, as an example if I visit my site from my cellphone using my cellular data connection, tracking works fine and contacts will be created.

If I visit from my wifi connection, with the same device, behind my LAN, tracking doesn’t work.

Is it supposed to work this way? Is this because the mautic instance has the same public IP as the LAN?
