Are online versions of emails sent being stored even though the {webview_url} variable isn't used in any of the emails?

What makes me think so:

  1. Enter a contact.
  2. Go to events for the contact and click on an email that has been sent to the contact.
  3. The email that was sent is displayed on it’s own page and the link to the page is unique.
