Backup from the GUI

My idea is: A backup function from the GUI that:

  • 1st version: creates a zip file of the mysqldump and the files/configs every day/hour/week
  • 2nd version: autouploads that regularly done backup to Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox and deletes older than x backups

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea: Every Mautic user and most of all people considering to use Mautic.

Why I think they would benefit from this idea: Because data loss is horrible and not everybody has backup functionality from the hoster, especially if you self-host on a VPS.

Great feature indeed, push a button and backup everything, and in settings you could schedule your regular backups.

We put together a backup plugin.

Not sure the rules on this so check the forum post: Backup Plugin for details.

Supports v 2.14.x, 2.15.x and 2.16.x
