My idea is:
A simple language change in the Settings section, change Custom fields to Customize fields.
I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:
All administrators, especially new people. The current name implies it is only for custom fields, whereas in face it contains all fields, including Core ones. Customize fields actually says what it does, let’s you customise the available fields, including adding new ones if you wish, but also controlling and manipulating Core fields.
Why I think they would benefit from this idea:
They would be less confused!
