$ conflict in WYSIWIG content

I just noticed that when I enter content into the WYSIWIG in Mautic 2.8.2, all looks fine.

However, when I publish and review, anything that had a Dollar Sign ($) in it is gone, along with any trailing characters until it hits a space.

For example, $15/yr. shows fine in the WYSIWIG, but on the front-end it shows at " /yr."?

Tried special character encoding the dollar sign, no dice.

Not sure what do to here, I need a dollar value sign.

Any suggestions?

Oddly enough, it works fine if there’s a space between the dollar sign and the next characters.
Not ideal, though, kinda annoying. PITA to train editors to remember that…
