Contactfield as Sender works in template email, not in segment email

I notice that when I use a template email, I can use the contents of a field in the ‘Sender’ field: like {contactfield=partner}.



When I use a segment email, I can’t do that, then the logic doesn’t seem to work. I think this may be easy to correct. Would it fit in a new update?
