My idea is: Extend the /emails endpoint of the REST API to allow sending emails to a contact’s owner (or user or arbitrary email address), like the campaign action.
I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea: As an integrator, connected systems could notify/send messages to the owner of a contact or other people associated with a contact, e. g. due to a trigger to take some action.
Why I think they would benefit from this idea: Email history is associated with the contact. Sending emails to a user could benefit from the email features that Mautic provides.

What skills and resources do you need to explore this further? I’ve never written anything for Mautic to enhance the API. I guess I’d need to get familiar with that topic.
