You have to provide a message that convinces amazon support to allow you the production access.
I have managed to get approved for one client and rejected for another. They were both using Mautic.
Try to be as polite as possible and provide answers to the questions they ask. It also helps if you tell them you do this in scope of company that is in X industry.
If you do not manage to get it approved with Amazon, just switch to the provider that does not require this (such as Omnivery and Mailgun), for both you can find plugins here: Plugins for Mautic 4 & 5
I’ve just got out for a client’s account.
Like mzagmajster said, you have to provide some plausible info.
I’ve provided the url of the domain.
I said my use would be for marketing and transactionals and my monthly sending estimate.
That we keep our email list always clean and up-to-date, and we use lead scoring to target our emails only to the right people.
That one account was pretty easy actually, so maybe you can go in same directions!
Hope it helps!
If you are refused, make sure your website doesn’t look spammy, and your domain is not on any spamlist.
Also make sure you don’t use prepaid credit cards, or cards issued from other country then the one you are applying from.
BTW - once you are refused, it’s lot harder to re-try.
