My Mautic version is: v4.2.2.

My question is:
How granular can you set how often a contact receives an e-mail through Mautic?

I know about the global setting and the corresponding setting in the contact. But can I also set this for a campaign or even for a specific e-mail?

Hi, to my knowledge not for a specific campaign. You should control that when you craft your campaign and time your campaign steps.
