Your problem
My problem is: When setting dimensions (width, height, max-width & max-height) to an image in the Email Builder using the Blank theme, the image is rescaled in the builder and in the preview but not when actually sending the email. The image is shown in its original size. No CSS is applied.
Steps I have tried to fix the problem: None. We offer the blank theme as a solution for marketeers (not developers) to build their own mails. For them this clearly feels like a bug and we would like to get this fixed.
