Could it be you used your mail server for mailings in the past? Did you have a high complain rate? Could it be that people marked your mails as spam in the past? The linked page explains a bit about the process.
Also make sure, that your mail records are set correctly. They define which servers are allow to send mail from your domain. You might think about using a managed SMTP service together with mautic.
