Your problem
I work for an IT supplier, and we are going to offer Mautic to our customers for sending newsletters. We will install Mautic on our servers, but the emails must be sent via the customer’s mail server.
Currently, they send newsletters using the Outlook email app, where they face certain sending limits: 50 recipients per email and a maximum of 10,000 emails per 24 hours.
Starting in October 2025, Microsoft will apparently enforce two hard limits in Exchange. One applies to the tenant (which currently means about 95,000 outgoing emails per day for a customer). We don’t foresee any issues with this for now. The second applies per user: 2,000 outgoing emails per day. Additionally, Microsoft 365 Defender/Exchange Online will impose another restriction, limiting outgoing emails to 1,000 unique recipients per day.
My first question: cán we send emails using Microsoft Exchange? (or, is it wise? 
)
If Mautic sends emails using Microsoft Exchange, will these limits also apply? How can we avoid this?
