Mautic not recognizing bounces (sendgrid)

Hi Guys,

I’m using Mautic via mautic.com and sending e-mails thru Sendgrid integration.

I noticed that, when sending thru Sendgrid, Mautic does not recognize hard bounces such as “account does not exists”.

Is there something that I need to configure at my Sendgrid account or Mautic STILL do not recognize these situations automatically?

How is Mautic’s behavior when using Amazon SES?

tks!

@paulofelix But can you see the bounce report in Sendgrid?

Hi @ninjoan!

Yes, I can see tha bounces in Sendgrid.

I also enabled Sendgrid to CC me the bounced e-mails - by using this tactic I have information in both sides.

By checking some of the bounced emails that came to my inbox, I noticed that Mautic did not recognized them as bounced - this is the reason of my doubt…

Oh right so the contact in your Mautic don’t have the “Do Not Contact” Label right? @paulofelix

No… and also don’t have the label “E-mail bounced”.

In my 1st campaign using Mautic.com I used Mautic as a email provider - in this case the system recognizes bounces. There were several emails marked with the “e-mail bounced” label in my 1st campaign - and after testing then, they were really wrong.

But the same label is not applied when using Sendgrid, that’s the point.

Why do I feel like most of the questions in these forums NEVER get answered or solved??

@kuzmany will this work with sendgrid? http://your-mautic.com/mailer/sendgrid/callback
