New function of Social Widgets on the Landing Pages

Hi everyone,

I want to share with you my reflections.

I have created a Landing Page where I have added the social share buttons. On the published page, when I click on the button share, let’s say the Twitter one, it opens a pop-up, it appears the title of the page plus the link of the landing page and the mention to our company.

I was wondering if it is possible to create a custom link for every share-action in order to be able to recognize which lead has clicked on the button to share the content.

Example:

lead xxxxx decides to share our content from the widget on the landing page. Our landing page address is mautic.seacom.it/title, but when the lead xxxxx clicks on the twitter share button, it will share the address mautic.seacom.it/yyyyy-title. yyyyy could be simply a unique ID auto-generated. On the lead history page the lead xxxxx will be associated to the ID yyyyy. Through that I will be able to search on twitter who has shared my landing page, then I could match the lead’s twitter profile with the lead profile in Mautic (of course I would have to do it manually).

If it already exists something similar, I apologize for that.

Regards,

Andrea

Good idea  I think it is technically doable.

I would love to see this feature. And then if it could track one or two steps further to see if that leads share then brought in any additional leads.
