New user issue: Campaign emails don't send (but test email does)

Your software
My Mautic version is: v5.1.1
My PHP version is: 8.1.29
My Database type and version is: 10.6.19-MariaDB-deb11-log

Your problem
First-time user here, so this may be a noob question.

I have created a test follow-up-sequence (campaign) with two emails, one to go out immediately, followed by another three minutes later.

I have set up a simple name/email form and used it to add 3 contacts. They show up under “Contacts” in Mautic and also show in the campaign itself.

By problem is, the two test emails aren’t going out.

I have tried sending a test email twice from Settings > Configuration > Email Settings, and they come through instantly.

The campaign appears to be live (set to Available).

Currently Mautic is still using the default SMTP through localhost:25. Could this be an issue?

If not, what could I check? Thanks in advance for any help.

The log shows no errors.

My hunch is that this is simply an issue of cron jobs not being configured. Looking into that now.

Did you check your mail settings and your cron jobs? Are they running correctly?

Any Solution to the issue?

Use the same email address that you want to send the campaign from when creating it in Mautic. Don’t use Gmail or any other personal email services - only use the email address that you’ll be sending your campaigns from.
