Could be. the ascii sometimes when copy pasting get wrongly entered. So that’s what i am trying to see. @jcgeut already copy pasted and failed so maybe that’s not it.
@jcgeut try rebooting your instance first and then try the same command or the previous command you were originally trying.
I’ve rebooted and still get the same response
[ec2-user@ip-172-31-16-42 www]$ chown -R www–data:www-data /var/www/mautic
chown: invalid user: ‘www–data:www-data’
I have installed TeamViewer in the meantime
