Pass UTM Parameters in the Form Redirect URL

Is it possible to pass the UTM parameters that can be collected when the user fills out the form to the redirect page as part of the query string…

I’m trying to pass utm data from a main domain to a subdomain after the form is submitted.

My first gut reaction is, turning on cross-domain tracking should fix this out of the box without too much tinkering.

Is there a reason for not enabling cross-domain tracking in GA? Or is it not working?

Hi @rcheesley ! Thanks for the reply.

I would have hoped it worked, but GA is showing the medium as the ‘Referral’ and source as the main domain… even though by default the main domain is set as the referral exclusion

However the client ID is correctly passed over from the main domain to the subdomain.

Any ideas whats going wrong?

Think I’ve solved this by adding the www url to the referral exclusion. It seems the UTM parameters are now showing instead of ‘Referral’
