Problems with the links of the emails sent by mautic

Your software
My Mautic version is: 4.4.4
My PHP version is: 7.4.33

Your problem
My problem is:

When I send an email with Mautic, all the URLs in the links are changed so that Mautic can track them. The problem is that Mautic puts “http” instead of “https” and the users who receive the email, when clicking on the link, receive the following message: "The connection is not private
It is possible that some attackers try to steal your information from url1936.************.com (eg, passwords, messages or credit cards).
NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

url1936..com usually uses encryption to protect the information. When Chrome tried to connect to url1936.-com, the website returned unusual and incorrect credentials. It is possible that an attacker wants to impersonate url1936.*******.com or that a Wi-Fi access screen has interrupted the connection. Your information remains safe because Chrome stopped the connection to prevent data exchange.

You cannot visit url1936.************.com now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page may work later."

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Hi,

Is your base url in configuration https? I see you are using Sendgrid. I have had this occur randomly with Sendgrid in the past and had to rebuild the link branding on their side. I do not remember off hand what the exact problem is, however I do remember it was on Sendgrid side.

I think it’s a Sendgrid issue. I’m reviewing it. I can’t find where to put the base URL in the Mautic configuration. I go to configuration and system configuration. But there’s no place where it says base URL. I have Mautic 4.4.4, I don’t know if that has changed.

I’m pretty sure it’s a Sendgrid configuration issue.

You need to set your Domain Authentication, Single Sender Authentication and your Link Branding (if you want).
