Sending email using API

Hi Everyone,



We are previously using Mautic 1.4.1. This version has a documentation on API that we are using in one of our custom Joomla modules for sending an email.



We are now using version 2.2.1 - there is no information about API for sending email.



Is it possible to send send email using API in the newest version?

If so, can you please give an example on how to send email using API in the newest version?
