It’s been a long overdue. But I managed to find track the customer through their purchase flow:
- Tracking pixel on all pages
- Tracking on checkout page associated with the same device id that appears in contact events timeline
- tracking on checkout completed that also appears on the contact timeline
Additional features are:
- Updating the contact purchase history
- Adding the RFM segmentation for triggering different campaigns for customer retention
- Option to add focus items to the website
- Respecting the customer consent by relying on Shopify
