Smart Auto Generated Newsletter

Idea for Hands free smart automated and individually personalized newsletter

Does any one know if Mautic its possible to develop a plugin/feature for mautic that auto generates a daily newsletters digest based on the subscribers individual activity in wordpress?

For example send a daily newsletter with 3-8 posts (title, Featured image, except) of posts/pages from your wordpress site based on the users individual activity.

So if the individual subscriber clicks and spends more time on post/pages related to marketing and traffic category, tags and/or keywords, then this subscribers newsletter will have more content related to marketing and traffic.

I got the idea from https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsme/ and https://newsatme.com/ but it would be nice if something similar was available for Mautic.

Hands free smart automated newsletter:

So you just have have content on your wordpress site and mautic will auto generate personalized newsletters for each individual subscriber. Obviously you’ll also need a setting that says don’t send same post more than X times per days to avoid getting the same post to often.

Also you can have your normal Mutic marketing automation campaigns.

=> Would you find something like this useful?

=> Do you think this is even possible for mautic?

Cheers :)

Did you ever figure out if/how you can do this in Mautic?

This is my third time in 2 years Ive picked up mautic to try and switch from Mailchimp for my no-budget, volunteer-only nonprofit, and I keep getting stopped by the poor documentation - never being sure if Mautic cant do something, or if I just cant figure out how…

And for the life of me I cant figure out how to have an email automatically retrigger (Mailchimp checks an RSS feed to see if there is a new post once per X, and if so, it grabs the content via RSS and sends it out to the segment).

Nope Mautic can not do anything like this, but you can manually create newsletter emails (which is what I do) but obviously its not to same as I described in my OP.

But Mautic can do everything else great like full marketing automation which is why I continue to use it. But most of my emails are newsletter experts of my blog posts so an auto newsletter feature would be great in my case.

I want this too… I need to be able to automatically have newsletters filled in and sent on a schedule based on the blog’s RSS. It should check blogX.com’s RSS for new posts since the last newsletter was sent, then fill BlogX’s newsletter template automatically.

Also keeping in mind that I’m sending out newsletters for about 20 different blogs using one Mautic install.

Have you tried this? I’m testing it these days and so far it seems to be working:

Mautic RSS to E-mail

Hi @helloeartisan-co-uk

I’ve been trying to install that same plugin to no avail.
Can you please share what Mautic version are you running?

Eventually is there anyone who can advice on how to get it running on 2.15.1?

Hello @tancredi,

I am using v2.14.0 but it should work well on 2.15.1 too.

Best regards,

Thank you for following up.

Ive followed the steps simply ftp the plugin on correct folder

But when I check plugins from within dashboard according to step 3, I don’t see it.

Can you advice on how to get this to work?

Clear cache (app/cache/prod/)
Then reload plugins.

@tancredi, Have you tried clearing the cache before going back to the dashboard? Please also have a look in here for some previous questions and answers:
