Templates won't load in old editor

My Mautic version is: 4.2.0
My PHP version is: 7.4
My Database type and version is: mariadb 10.3.34

I’m unable to select templates after switching to the old editor (another ticket open with issues in grapesjs). I receive the following in the debug console:

I’ve verified paths, reinstalled from scratch, cleared caches. I’m at a loss.
