Volunteer

Hi,

Congratulations on Mautic, I´m thinking it is fantastic!

I am enthusiastic for digital marketing, open source, joomla, collaborative environments and collective intelligence.

I would like to collaborate as a volunteer in any of these areas: designing, documenting, marketing, testing, translating or usability. Which of this areas have more necessity for volunteers at this time?

Regards.

Hi Delfino,

you have no idea how great it is to see someone offer help for a change

To be honest, all areas you offer have space for improvement. From my point of view, testing is the most needed. If you know Git a bit, you can test new PRs:

https://github.com/mautic/mautic/pulls

It will speed up release of next version. Documentation also needs some work. Especially to catch the questions which are asked over and over again and create FAQ section for each section of Mautic.

You can contribute to documentation at

https://github.com/mautic/documentation

and accessible at

https://www.mautic.org/docs/

Marketing is something we also desperately need. We are just bunch of developers (and David). If you could write some articles, social media or whatever you think of, it’d be greatly appreciated. You can also write on mautic.org blog if you don’t have anywhere else to put it. I can arrange that.

Translations are handled via

https://www.transifex.com/mautic/mautic/

If there is a language you speak and is not translated already, it’d be great to translate it.

John

Hi John

Already I signed up on www.transifex.com/mautic/mautic/ and started translating for pt_BR.

Also I signed up in slalck. and joined in #blog and #translatinos channels.

I have not had experience with Git but I signed up and I believe we should not have many difficulties to test new PRs.
