500 Error on new Install

I just installed Mautic 6 .0.7 via Softaculous. When I go to the URL I get a 500 error.

After digging into the logs I found this error:

mautic.CRITICAL: Uncaught PHP Exception Error: “Failed opening required ‘/MYPATH/var/cache/prod/doctrine/orm/Proxies/__CG__MauticPluginBundleEntityPlugin.php’ (include_path=‘.:’)” at /MYPATH/vendor/doctrine/common/src/Proxy/AbstractProxyFactory.php line 197 {“exception”:“[object] (Error(code: 0): Failed opening required ‘/MYPATH/var/cache/prod/doctrine/orm/Proxies/__CG__MauticPluginBundleEntityPlugin.php’ (include_path=‘.:’) at /MYPATH/vendor/doctrine/common/src/Proxy/AbstractProxyFactory.php:197)”}

How do I go about fixing this?

Also, in the installed version of Softaculous, there is no upgrade button to upgrade to 7 that is why I’m on 6.

This is most likely a problem with the install script that softaculous use.

You’ll have to install it w/o softaculous. And then compare the discrepancies between both setups.

It’s much of guess work since softaculous encode their scripts.

And if you don’t want to go all in on the debug of softaculous but still want to use it, their helpdesk should be your first stop.

Otherwise just don’t use softaculous. And you’ll end up better knowing your web app alongside with saving hours of third-party install script debug (which is a paid service and unrelated with Mautic).

I can available for assistance, If you need professional.
