Hi Mautic team,
I’m currently using Mautic to manage complex automation flows and testing, and I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would be incredibly valuable: introducing a “Round Robin” condition within campaign flows.
My goal is to alternate the distribution of contacts between two (or more) branches of a campaign, to run structured A/B tests entirely within the same automation.
At the moment, I’ve worked around this by creating a custom field that checks whether a contact’s ID is even or odd, and I route users accordingly. While this workaround technically works, it’s a hacky solution and presents limitations in terms of scalability and campaign clarity.
A native Round Robin Condition would instead allow:
- Equal and automatic distribution of contacts across branches
- True A/B (or A/B/C/…) testing fully managed by Mautic
- Elimination of workaround logic
- Better readability and maintainability of campaigns
I believe this feature would open up valuable opportunities for testing and optimization, which are in high demand in marketing automation scenarios.
Thanks for your attention and for all the great work you do!
