I’m using Mautic to automate emails sent out to volunteers at my non-profit. I’m starting to learn that some of the approaches I’m taking are causing me problems that I would not have anticipated. For instance, if I use a theme on my emails, such as Aurora, my emails to gmail addresses get relegated to the promotions inbox, where my volunteers don’t see them. Switching to plain text emails (with a few links when necessary) has solved that problem. Are there any other tips that people can give that will result in better delivery of the emails? For instance, will I do better having my From Name set to my name, rather than my organization’s name? Does the From Address need to correspond From Name? Does a person’s name as the From Address fare better than an email@example.com From Address?
