I’ve seen your post about the Bitname AMI server size and we are experiencing the same.
Everything is very slow and not responding as it should be.
Did you already found a solution to this problem? We are also running the lowest server settings now.

Sorry to hear you’re suffering too!
No, we were essentially just evaluating Mautic and I decided it wasn’t suitable for our needs in the end. It seems it is not really designed for sending out bulk emails to lots of users simultaneously. But if you do want to stick with it, a couple of things to try would be to switch to a larger Amazon instance, and to try getting Mautic to connect to Amazon SMS via API instead of SMTP. (At least when I tried it that wasn’t officially supported, but someone had posted some instructions for how to hack it.)
