BUG v3.0.1, MAXMIND Geolite, Fetch Data Store failed, License required

Your software
My Mautic version is: 3.0.1
My PHP version is: 7.3.18

Your problem
My problem is: Fetch IP Lookup Data Store fails > Automatically fetching IP lookup data failed.

These errors are showing in the log:

[2020-07-03 01:35:02] mautic.WARNING: MaxMind license key is required.
[2020-07-03 01:35:02] mautic.ERROR: Failed to fetch remote IP data: A string or UriInterface object must be provided, a “NULL” was provided.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

According to MaxMind website, as of Dec 2019 they are requiring people to create an account and obtain a license key. There is nothing in the Mautic UI that warns users of this and provides a field for the license key. https://blog.maxmind.com/2019/12/18/significant-changes-to-accessing-and-using-geolite2-databases/
