My problem is:
I’m trying to centre align an image on my email template but it doesn’t allow me to just centre the image I have to centre align the block, is there another way around this?

The image will be centered if the container hosting that image has the centered alignment value.
In short: You need to click on the image, then move the mouse at the side of the image until arrow up appears. Once you click the arrow up, you’ll be editing the properties of the column (container) hosting that image. Click on the brush and look for the center icon.
Your image should be centered now.

Thank you – sure not obvious!!
I came across this issue myself but with the landing page builder.
The way I got it centred was to create its own row, and on the image set float to none, display to inline.
Just in case anyone else comes across this (or more likely me in a few months time!)
