Hello All experienced Mauticians - I am new to this and setting up two M3 servers and I wanted to know what the consensus is. Port 80 or not?
Each server will have it’s own subdomain: marketing.domain.com - which I believe will be better for cookies and/tracking. And also better than a subdirectory: domain.com/marketing.
But ‘marketing’ could have several apps in future not just mautic, analytics, reporting, grafana, etc. and also I just don’t like the idea that someone many chance into the mautic logon console. So…
Q: Is there any side-effet, disadvantages to using a different port for my Mautic installation - eg: marketing.domain.com:44100? Does anyting “break”?
