Hi team, for some reasonse emai builder adding wrong variables and after closing it not saving changes.

I installed fresh mautic 1.4 and have the same. please see sreenshot: http://prntscr.com/b3ayjj



I set 777 to all folder, installed cronjobs. I really don’t know why fresh installation has this bug. Please help

Please help with email builder, why it doesn’t save my changes? can some reproduce it?

I don’t see anything wrong in the screen shot. What is the problem?

Changes after closing builde not saving, I can’t see any JS errors, also in previous mautic version all variable was inserted between { }, and not it’s ** **

  2. Drag the contact field to a content slot area
  3. Close the builder
  4. Apply the changes
  5. Open the builder

Yes, it right answer, I really didn’t understand that I need “Apply” after closing builder

Wouldn’t be a better solution to only have a “save” button that in background would apply also changes?

I maybe wasn’t clear enough, but when you close the builder and open again, you should see the canvas the same way you left it before. It is a bug and that’s why I asked if @valentyn-md could report it on GitHub so developers could track it.

The automatic save is not a good solution if you mess something up and don’t want the changes you did to be saved. In that case you can leave the builder, close the item.

Having a similar problem now. I update email in the builder, but as soon as I close it, all of the updates go away. We recently updated Mautic, but I was not having this problem earlier in the week after update. The solution of applying changes then opening the builder again did not work. Any suggestions?

I have the solutions to the above problem. But you need to reinstall it. Send me PM i will guide you how to do it.
