Email delivery: Gmail & Hotmail

  1. Why is it that when I use AMAZON SES or a Gmail account, I get my emails delivered to my work address but not to any Gmail or Hotmail account?
  2. When I use a personal SMTP server emails get delivered to both my work address and Gmail account without any problem.



    What do I need to do?

I’d rather stick with something like Mailgun.

Or if you want to go with your own SMTP server, make sure you have a clean IP address, and properly set up SPF+DKIM records on your domain.
