Insert date variable in theme?

Your problem
My problem is: I want to insert the sending date in a theme. In other words, when an email is sent, the current date is inserted in the email, in place of a volume/issue.

I’m a Mautic newbie, but I’ve been searching for a way to do this, both in variables and dynamic variables. It seems like a simple request, so I figure I’m totally missing something. Help?

I think there are no variables available. I just tried with {today} but it didn’t get replaced in the mail. Would love to be wrong about it.

Hi email not empty maybe? I don’t know to be honest maybe it was an old feature and the docs are outdated? I don’t think it makes senses to manually add user to a segment since they will be moved out if the conditions for that user don’t match. Maybe you can create a segment using tags or any other field and add them that way instead? You could use this plugin to add dynamic templates and then you can use something like this in your TWIG block {{ "now"|date("m/d/Y") }} this will render …
