My problem is:
Mautic seems to capture lots of IP addresses in my contacts, how do I disable it?
These errors are showing in the log:

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:
In tracking settings, I’ve already disabled these options, but it didn’t seem to help:
you’re already at the right point: Simply set “Anonymize IP” to Yes 
Oh that’s what it means! I thought it just scrambles the IP addresses. The info box is more helpful than the text. Thanks @ekke !
oh, good point! The behavior was actually different in earlier versions where 1.2.3.4 would be turned into 1.2.3.* (while now it becomes *.*.*.*)
Maybe the label in the UI should be changed into “Do not store IP address” or so.

“Do not create new Contacts from only IP addresses” is the most clear to me!
That is again something different - you seem to be talking about “anonymous contacts” (you may want to research that term), with the switch enabled they will still be created but as “*.*.*.*"
Oh then there’s a misunderstanding here. My original question was how to stop Mautic from creating contacts with only IP addresses. You are saying the “anonymous contacts” toggle has nothing to do with it, is that correct?
