Joomla Plugin - mtracking.gif in source?

Mautic Joomla Plugin installed on Joomla 3.6.4 site.



When I look at the source code of a page (with jdoc:include component) I can see the javascript but I do not see the mtracking.gif file. However, when I inspect the site with Chrome and view the Sources tab, I can see the mtracking.gif with all the variables.



Is this operating as it should?



I see pagehits, etc. within Mautic, just wanting to make sure that the mtracking.gif is there.

Found deep somewhere that the mtracking.gif is not the preferred method with the javascript methods available.
