Live Mode no longer Live?

Your problem
My problem is: Live Mode does not work.

These errors are showing in the log: None.

Steps I have tried to fix the problem:

By clicking the thunderbolt icon in the top right-hand corner of the contacts view, you can enable ‘live mode’. In this mode contacts are supposed to be automatically added to the top of lists in real time, as they are created. I am not seeing this. In older versions of Mautic I did see it working, but now it doesn’t. You have to manually refresh - which defeats the purpose of having a ‘live mode’.

I tested this on 4.4.9 and a clean install of 4.4.10. I also test on a demo install of 4.4.10 on a completely different server.

Can anyone else please confirm if this is broken?

I never saw it working actually. Are you sure? Which version?

I’ve been using Mautic since 2.16.2 and I believe it was working back then. The list view of contacts would refresh every few seconds. Although I never really used the feature in a production sense I did think it was pretty neat to have.

My main concern at seeing it not working now is if this means there is something wrong with my current install.

Your install is fine, it’s been broken since 2.1x version.
I would love to see it, as it’s an eyecandy.

Thanks for confirming @joeyk. I guess it is pretty low priority on the list of bugs to be fixed (if it is even on the list), which is completely understandable. I can see in my browser console that the ajax requests are firing properly every few seconds, but clearly something has come unstuck.
