My Mautic version is: 5.1.0
My PHP version is: 8.2.21
My Database type and version is: MariaDB 10.3.39
Your problem
My problem is:
It’s a fresh installation. I came from Mautic 3 where I didn’t get this issue. Now it’s hard to make it work. I already tried many sollutions, but always get some error like Mautic stop working and the only way to solve is to reinstall Mautic again, restarting the process.
These errors are showing in the log:
Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username “AKIAT**********YFNPQ” using the following authenticators: “LOGIN”, “PLAIN”. Authenticator “LOGIN” returned “Expected response code “235” but got code “535”, with message “535 Authentication Credentials Invalid”.”. Authenticator “PLAIN” returned “Expected response code “235” but got code “535”, with message “535 Authentication Credentials Invalid”.”.
Steps I have tried to fix the problem:
- Install fresh Mautic 5.1.0
- Install GitHub - pabloveintimilla/mautic-amazon-ses: Mautic 5 plugin, provides Amazon SES as an email transport and callback to process bounces plugin
- Then Mautic down.
