Mautic campaign does not send email immediately

I am clueless version 2.1.6.
I set the campaign it signs the user to segment, but the first email is not being sent out for already few hours. And I set it up to be sent out immediately after user submits data

Why is this happening?

Can you show us the cronjob you have set up ?

Mautic:campaigns:trigger

Required to trigger any campaign. Even those with steps marked immediate
