Mautic is quite simple to install directly from their zip archive, but I’ve written a short tutorial that I hope can help some of you and avoid some blank pages or missing timezone, etc…

This is awesome! thanks so much for posting it.

Could you do one (minor, hopefully!) thing. The blog post is pinned to 1.0.3 which is gonna be outdated really soon. If you use:

http://mautic.org/download/latest

Instead, that will always been the latest version.

In wget you’ll have to follow redirects with the --level=0 flag:

wget --level=0 https://www.mautic.org/download/latest

Looks like I had some issues with W3 cache on my Wordpress instance.

I kept getting a blank page before install, and was close to giving up on Mautic. Then I found and applied your suggestion to chown the directory to www-data and that worked. Thank you!

I got a similar message when I installed. Contact your hosting company for assistance. Send them a screenshot of the message you’re getting so they know exactly how to resolve the error message.
