Mautic Notification Overload

I recently upgraded to the latest 2.10.1 version and notice that the notification prompt (the bell in the upper left hand corner) is most always on because notification are being generated for emails that are not being sent to contacts with bounced or do not contact flags set.



So, these are useless notification because it is EXPECTED that emails would not be sent to these contacts and actually the notification should occur if an email WAS SENT to a “do not contact” contact.



At any rate, with the notification queue always being full of these notifications, real notifications will not be noticed…like update notices.



Is/Are there plans to turn of certain notifications…how can these useless one be turned off now.

Me too.

There is no way to turn off. But have a way to delete all of them.

To day I went into PHPmyAdmin, look for mtnotifications table, and saw over 30000 notifications there (shock!), then I emptied that table! All of them gone!

Feeling relieved :smiley: Note. You should backup your database before truncate that :smiley:

@fususu I too use your recommended solution. I would think there would be a way to turn these off. thousands of error messages make no sense. My largest complaint:

notification messages are being created for emails that do not send to contacts that are marked as do not send. So, in reality, this is not an error at all, it is exactly what the system is supposed to do.
