0️⃣ Introductions - Who you are, where you’re located and how you’re involved with Mautic

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) Hi all - Ruth, Project Lead, based in the UK and great to see things moving forward!

1️⃣ Welcoming new Assistant Team Leads

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) I’m sad to share that the time has come for @Dennis Ameling (he/him) to step down from his role as Assistant Team Lead - we are all so very grateful for the many hours of work he has put in, and the support to others in the team, over the last year.We have decided as the Community Leadership Team to have two Assistant Team Leads in the Product Team going forward - one with a focus on development and the engineering side of things, and the other with a focus on our users and the product side of things.Without further ado I’m very excited to welcome @mohit.aghera who will be taking on the development-focused role and @Joey Keller who will be taking on the product-focused role. Please join me in congratulating them and welcoming them into the Product Team Leadership!
mohit.aghera Hi Team, I’m Mohit Aghera from India. Primarily I’m working with web technologies since past 10 years. Looking forward to work with everyone and excited for the new opportunity.

Dennis Ameling (he/him) Welcome Mohit and Joey! Awesome to see you both stepping up! It was an absolute pleasure being part of this team and working with the amazing people in the community. Have learned a lot in the last year :rocket: Thanks!! Will definitely be around, just a bit more in the background
alanhartless Thank you @Dennis Ameling (he/him) for everything! You’re amazing and glad you’re planning to still be around!Welcome and congratulations @mohit.aghera and @Joey Keller! 3️⃣ 3.3 preparations & work to do

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) We ale making good progress and already we have merged quite a few new features. Will need to liaise with Marketing on this one - we are also removing support for PHP 7.2 in this release.

4️⃣ Bounty programme & funding

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) We announced this today, Bountysource is live and already has the first backer! https://www.mautic.org/blog/community/funding-mautic-community
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) I would like there to be a space for folk to share their feedback/concerns/experiences in our meetings during the pilot (edited)
Dennis Ameling (he/him) Great article and interesting approach - curious to see how this will develop. Thanks for sharing @Ruth Cheesley (she/her)

5️⃣ Updates from initiatives

5️⃣ . 1️⃣ Builders

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) @Adrian @Alex Hammerschmied can you give an update here please? Thanks!

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) If you are interested please join #i-builders
Adrian As far as I know we are still waiting for the “set up”. The PR should be merged. Or do we have a repo now?I dont know whats the best set up. Does the core team have an opinion on that?
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) The PR would not be merged until work is complete - which I don’t think it is. From my recall there were some bugs that needed to be fixed?
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) I think that we are moving towards it being a separate repo - in which case that needs to come over to the Mautic org. There will still need to be a PR to introduce it as an available plugin though, I believe.
Alex Hammerschmied exactly. I think we have to create the "place to go and contribute" first. There are a few confusing things at the moment. e.g which repo to use, remove the 2.x branch and make 3.x default (we're should only work towards the current version)
Alex Hammerschmied ok. so then we're working in the webmecanic repo? It would be great to make the 3.x branch the master branch in that case.
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) So how about if we ask @Norman Pracht / @kuzmany to move the current repo over to the community then we can have that as the ‘official’ place to contribute? Would that make the most sense? Do we need more people to get this ready to ship with 3.3 at the end of the month?
Joey Keller I would like to know if we should add new templates to the builder. I did Litmus testing with the current templates, and almost all breaking in Outlook.
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) It could be an option - we would need to create them though!
Joey Keller I have a few, generic ones, responsive, I can offer them to the community.
Alex Hammerschmied @Ruth Cheesley (she/her) yes let's ask @Norman Pracht and @kuzmany to move the current repo. I think that would be great to make it "more" official. :slightly_smiling_face:
Norman Pracht https://github.com/mautic/plugin-grapesjs-builder
Norman Pracht Here we go !
Alex Hammerschmied Nice! Let's roll!

5️⃣ . 2️⃣ Composer Support

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) @Nick Veenhof can you give a brief update to the team of where we are with this?
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) https://mautic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MI/pages/324337710/Composer+Support
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) If you are interested please join #i-composer-support

5️⃣ . 3️⃣ Install & Upgrade

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) We haven’t had anyone step up to contribute on this one so I have outlined the goals and created an issue:https://mautic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MI/pages/324435990/Improve+the+Installation+and+Upgrade+Process
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) If you are interested please join #i-install-upgrade

5️⃣ . 4️⃣ Marketplace

Ruth Cheesley (she/her) https://mautic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MI/pages/324436014/Mautic+MarketplaceThis one is largely blocked by the Symfony 4 update work and the Composer initiative.
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) If you are interested please join #i-mautic-marketplace
Joey Keller Does it mean, that it will be only developed for Symfony 4 due to lack of resources? Or that it cannot be built for Symphony 4?
Ruth Cheesley (she/her) The latter I believe. We require Composer 2 for the Marketplace, and that requires some dependencies to be updated which will not be coming until Mautic 4 as they break backwards compatibility (perhaps I should have said Mautic 4 rather than Symfony 4 - but Mautic 4 will be on Symfony 4) (edited)

5️⃣ .5️⃣ Next Generation

alanhartless I’ll be ramping up engagement for this starting end of this week.
