PlaceIQ announced Landmark geotrack-segments. Mautic connect explore

Hi. PlaceIQ is one of the leading geotarget n behavior tracking cos. They have devised segments and treat location almost like cookies to determine psychographic behaviors, and group like minded people together. Have crossed much of the US various types of locations with what is there such as car dealer, museum, restaurant, what type of retailer, sporting event, etc.

I sent them a suggestion to explore a Mautic connect. Adding what they have as an addition to Mautic profiles would be great, tied to IP, or however they unique identify. To track marketing vs physical world visits performance. Ad spend focus and effectiveness. Lots of uses. It is hard for a company like PlaceIQ to serve SMB, time commitment vs dollars they get for what is small dollars compared to big media agencies, brands, in-house teams, etc. they need to focus on for their business. Maybe through Mautic community they can serve this market somewhat. Just like Marketing AUtomation itself, useless without the tech integrator, and then the strategic marketer with the tech knowledge of what targeting is possible, to make use of it in a small biz. Most SMB just stop paying for stuff as they don’t see the value. Its up to us to effectively apply, and Mautic the for-profit side to eventually take away the headache for portion of population decides to focus time elsehwere stage of a business, like the Marketo/etc community operates/grew into model. Thanks to Mautic for applying the model to Marketing Automation with this tool

Just tossing it out there. There are very few solid services like this open to SMB, not directly tied to media buy platforms or others at large per-month cost. Not sure how Landmark will work, but maybe something Mautic can connect to on a per-call data-as-service basis, maybe small free allotment to show benefits followed by pricing according to traffic. Would be very interesting if you know what the big guys have access to.

Just putting it on the radar for anyone wants to pursue.
