Second newsletter based on specific click in first newsletter

I have searched the forum, but I am missing a step-by step recipe of how to:

  1. Create a newsletter (this I know…)
  2. IF someone clicks a specific link in this newsletter, then send them a second newsletter. (this I don’t know)

Is there a clear guideline out there how to do this?

I tried to create a campaign that would put the ones who visit a particular page (link) in the first newsletter into another segment that will trigger the second newsletter, but it does not work.

It turned out it worked. The first attempt didn’t work because it looks like (!) my email client is blocking tracking pixels, so Mautic did not see that the newsletter was read or clicked. A different email client triggered the campaign correctly.
