Sending emails through campaigns

Hi, I created a campaign and I am now testing it. The campaign is supposed to send emails after the lead/contact performs an action. Sometimes the period between the action and receiving the mail is fairly short and sometimes it takes a whole day. In the campaign the settings are all set to send the mail directly after the action is performed.



Does anyone else have this problem or have a suggestion what the reason could be?
