Translated and linked email not being sent

Hi.
I started using Mautic some days ago and I realy like it.
I created 2 segments to differ my german and french speaking audiance. Then I created a new segment email and set up the email for the german speaking people. Then cloned the email and translated it to french. I marked the email as a translation from the german one.
The problem now was that the german email was sent out correctly but the french one did not. At least not up until I removed the link between the translations so that I had 2 email in my list. After doing that and waiting for the cronjob to to it’s thing, the email was sent out correctly.

Any thoughts on what I might be missing?

Have you got the preferred locale set for your contacts? That determines which version is being sent - if their locale is French, they’ll get the French version, but if German is the base language of the email and no locale is set, or the language is not French, they’ll also get the German one.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
Yes, the locals are set for all the contacts. They are ether German or French. And as soon as I disassociated the two emails, the french version was sent, so all works fine with the settings.
