Unable to import/install custom mjml email templates

Your problem
My problem is:

I’ve just upgraded to Mautic v4 and have discovered that the custom email templates I built are no longer available for selection when creating an email. I noticed the ones that are available are built using mjml, so I downloaded one (Brienz), customised it to meet our branding requirements and am now finding that I’m unable to import it. I’m getting the error message:

The theme you tried to install is missing the following required files and thus could not be installed: html/email.html.twig

I compressed everything into a zipped folder before uploading and I know it includes everything the new template style needs because all the files from the original Mautic template are there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey there,

Please put the MJML markup into the email.html.twig file if you want to use the uploader as a workaround, or upload the themes to your server directly.

We are working on improving the docs at docs.mautic.org/builders to be clearer on this.
