I have just started using Mautic and have been testing out the email feature. I sent an email campaign to a list with two of my own email addresses in it and I tried unsubscribing via one. When I click the unsubscribe link (added manually using the {unsubscribe_url} token), it takes me to a page that says ‘Sorry to see you go…’ etc but then it doesn’t actually remove my email from the list. If I log back in to Mautic I can see that there are still two leads attached to the list I sent the email to.
Am I missing something?

The unsubscribe feature doesn’t move the leads from any list. It will mark the lead that it unsubscribed and Mautic won’t send any emails to him/her in the future.

Yeah, some sort of “do not contact” list is used…
Which gets in the way if the subscriber wants to revert later (e.g. opted out of important client communications and is now complaining that he doesn’t get the updates).
